New Toradex Oak USB Sensor with Compass & Accelerometer

Toradex has launched a new Oak USB sensor that combines a 3-Axes Accelerometer & 3-Axes Magnetometer into a single package. The Oak Orientation features the LSM303DLH from STMicroelectronics. It has a linear acceleration full-scale of ±2g / ±4g / ±8g and a magnetic field full-scale of ±1.3 / ±1.9 / ±2.5 / ±4.0 / ±4.7 / ±5.6 / ±8.1 gauss, both fully selectable by the user.

Oak USB Sensor 3-Axes Acceleration and 3-Axes Magnetometer

Applications range from tilt compensated compassing, display orientation and motion-activated functions, through to gaming and virtual reality input devices, impact recognition and logging, as well as vibration monitoring.

New Toradex Colibri PXA Windows CE Image and BSP V3.9 beta 2 available

Toradex just released the newest beta version of the Colibri PXA Windows CE 5 and CE 6 image and BSP. This version contains some bug-fixes for serial driver, Ethernet and USB Host port as well as some new features.

New Toradex Colibri Windows CE Image and BSP V3.7 Now Available

Toradex just released version 3.7 of their Colibri PXA Windows CE5 and CE6 BSP and Bootloader. Some of the key changes are:

- Full support for new HW versions: Colibri PXA320 V2.0, Colibri PXA270 V2.2

- Improvements for touch driver using Wolfson codec (Colibri PXA310, Colibri PXA270 V2.2, Colibri PXA320 V2.0)

- Faster boot times possible for Colibri PXA3xx modules.

- Big performance improvements for Windows CE 6 DIB (Device Independent Bitmaps) operations.

Colibri Tegra T20 Modules – Up and Running!

The latest Colibri Tegra T20 modules were brought to life by our engineers last month, and are in the final stages of testing and evaluation.  The first batch of engineering samples are still on target for Q4 release. 

Pricing has been finalised for single quantities at 159 EUR / 230 CHF / 219 USD, further volume pricing will be released in the near future.
